Hi there! I'm thrilled to be guesting on the Waffleflower blog today! I combined the Willy & Friends stamp set with the Stocking stamp set to bring you the monkey version of Santa and Rudolph.

I love working with stamps to create something that looks like it was originally produced that way. It took a bit of masking, but you'd never know that this wasn't originally a monkey-themed-christmas stamp set!

I gave Rudolph a set of antlers and a bright red nose. I then gave Santa his signature white beard and hat. I also decided to give them the same set of eyes. If you refer back to the original stamp set, all of the monkeys have different faces. With all of the Christmas accessories, I felt like it was too much. I wiped off the face of the sitting monkey to provide him with the face of the standing monkey.

After the monkeys were stamped and colored, I curved part of the sentiment above them, and stamped the rest below.
