Hi everyone, it's
Stephanie here with one more guest post sharing a card I created with the Riverside stamp set from Waffle Flower. I wanted to create a night time scene with the stamps so I started by masking off a circle area and inking the background with various shades of blue and black distress inks to set the area for my scene. I went darker on the top and a little lighter on the bottom to make it look like the stars were casting some light on the ground.

Once I had all of the inking done, I stamped all of the images on top with black ink to make them look like silhouettes. I stamped the river first and then added the mountains, the stars and the grass detail. I also used black pen to draw a line directly under the mountains to separate the ground and the sky in the scene.

I stamped the sentiment from the Lacy Flowers stamp set onto a piece of white cardstock and then I trimmed it down and adhered it over a strip of vellum before adding it to the card. I trimmed down the stamped panel and added it to a white card base with strip of silver glitter paper and black and white striped patterned paper piece. I then added some clear sequins with silver stickles scattered around the finished scene.
Thanks so much for joining me on the Waffle Flower blog! I have loved creating and sharing cards with all of you the past few months.
Thank you for joining us, Stephanie!
What a stunning card, Stephanie. I love the silhouette look with the mountains, stars and river. Love the coloring you did for the background and, of course, the bling of the sequins and silver paper strip. So pretty.
