Katie here. I’ve been having so much fun with Waffle Flower Crafts new Jumbo Alphabet Letter dies, and I have a couple cards to share with you today using the
Jumbo Letter A-Z set and the
Balloon Messages die.
My first card uses the Jumbo Letter Dies as rounded letter balloons. I die cut the letters from vellum and adhered them to a panel of white card stock. I die cut and adhered the balloon string to each letter to complete the balloon look.
Cutting the letters from vellum helps reinforce the balloon look. The trick with vellum is hiding the adhesive in such a way that it doesn’t show. To do this, I use a Xyron Create-a-Sticker. The 1.5” width is the perfect size for coating the letters with adhesive evenly.
My next card uses the Alphabet dies and the speech bubble die from the Balloon Messages die set. I used more vellum for the bubbles and die cut the letters from white card stock.
This design is super flexible and you can swap out letters- OMG can easily become YAY, EEK, LOL, WOW or anything you can imagine.

How perfectly balloon looking the vellum is! Brilliant idea! I adore the pop of colours the speech bubbles put behind your OMG. And they are so much more appropriate than plain circles! Your cards are fabulous!
