Hello Waffle Flower Crafts fans and visitors!
I am so excited to be sharing my first post with you today as an official Waffle Flower design team member. I hope you have had a chance to check out
this month's new products because they are amazing.

When I first saw the butterfly in this month's inspiration photo, I immediately fell in love with the colors. I paired the little
Tiny Wings die with the little butterfly from the
Rosette Hearts Template die with the color swatches to create a sweet gift bag.

Using a kraft gift bag as my project base, I die cut and adhered several tiny butterflies to the front of the bag. This design would also translate really well onto a card.

Wanting a sweet, yet subtle, sentiment to accompany the carefree butterflies, I stamped smile from the
Doily Circle Stamp Set with Pebble ink from the
Spring Blend Inkpad.

Wanting to get the butterflies "just right" on the front of the gift bag, I played around with the arrangement before adhering them to the card. I experimented with different color arrangements, butterfly arrangements, and patterns before I settled on my final design. TIP: Take a picture of your arrangement for easy reference when creating a pattern with several components.

I added dimension and movement to my gift bag by folding up the butterfly wings creating a slight curve to the butterfly pattern. I also completely adhered the blue butterflies near the bottom of the bag to make it appear as though the butterflies were taking flight from the bag.
Have fun playing along with
the challenge!
Amanda
