Take Me to Spring Gift Bags + Punch Board Giveaway
Hello everyone! I started to notice that the weather is getting warmer and more people are wearing shorts and flip-flops around here in Arizona. I hope that today's project can bring a little sunshine to you if it is still cold there.
Since the "legendary" Envelope Punch Board, We R Memory Keepers has expanded the punch board family to five. I used Gift Bag punch board for today's project. All paper are from Pebbles Garden Party collection.
There are many combinations of paper sizes to make a variety of bags. I would like to share what I did and what I learned.
I like that it looks like a shopping bag and is big enough for gift cards and small treats! If you are using a patterned paper that has a direction, remember to turn the pattern to face yourself (toward the bottom of the board) when punching and scoring.
I love the idea of a reverse punch to punch out the holes! I die cut the scallop boarder, punched it with the reverse hole punch to adhere it to the front of the bag.
If you follow the instructions came with the board, all the bags you make will be 2" in depth. This bag was made from a half sheet of 12"x12" paper and will probably be my favorite size to make. I like to get myself out of the measuring game and just have fun decorating. I die cut a couple of pennants and a butterfly for this bag.
I'm keeping this bag myself. It makes me smile. Think how happy it would make a little girl feel when filled with colorful markers?!
My paper was 8" in length and had about 1/4" hanging off the punch board. The instruction suggests turning it around to extend the score lines. I left the end un-scored and it worked fine for me.
I tried the Wide Eyelets with Crop-A-Dile tool from We R Memory Keepers on both the yellow hexagon bag and this bag. This tool made setting eyelets very easy!

Spring is my favorite season. All the new pastel colors, so cheery. Makes me all warm and happy inside whenever I think of spring. Spring is also when everything starts to come to live again – the flowers, butterflies, the warm weather…..

These are so cute Nina! Love the papers and I love the different sizes, especially the tall skinny one! My favorite season is fall. I just love the crisp cool feel of the air and all the color. And it reminds me of home.
