The FIVE Code, Backer Cards and Our First Design Team Member!
Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your kind words, excitement and encouragement on The Gap & A New Beginning. It's been exciting and scary at the same time. But when your mind's made up, the rest of it is easy, right? We're truly grateful for all the help and support we are getting from all of you. To share the excitement, we are having one giveaway per day for the entire week starting today! Before we start introducing our new products, we would like to share some more about the company: Waffle Flower Crafts.
The FIVE CodeWe come up with the FIVE code to remind ourselves why we do what we do. No matter what the future might bring, these are the things we will stick to:
FunWaffle Flower™ started as a craft blog and will continue to focus on sharing fun craft ideas, providing inspiration and in-depth information on trends and tools. Waffle Flower Crafts specializes in stamps and dies but you can find all kinds of craft ideas at our blog here. We’re dedicated to creating and maintaining a friendly, relaxed environment. We are here together to explore our creative minds and celebrate each other. If we are not having fun, we are doing something wrong.
InspiringWe design our products with fresh concepts and latest techniques in mind. It is our goal to bring you, our dear customers, something new and/or different with each of our releases. We hope our products can provide inspiration. We believe showing the products in use is the best way to provide inspiration. We have an amazingly talented design team. We ask our designers to only create with our products when they feel inspired because that is how their creations can be inspiring. All of their happy creations will be cataloged on the product pages in the store as well as our social media outlets. Stay connected with us, something good will happen.
VersatileBeing versatile is very, very important to us. We give our best effort to provide our customers with more than their money’s worth. We intend to keep our releases fairly small so we can have plenty of time sharing ideas on how to use them in many different ways. We encourage our customers to play with our products and try different things each time.
Easy to UseWe believe crafting is for everyone. We make our products as easy to use as possible so it is more likely for our customers to have fun with them. Our effort includes innovation in product designs, use of only high quality materials, and multiple tests and trials during production. A small improvement can make a big difference. And we will continue to grow and improve.
The Backer CardsIt was fun coming up with the packaging. I had several neat ideas but the budget does not allow them at this time. Hopefully, some day, we will be able to have them! We went bright and bold. We color coded the backer cards – Pink: Stamp; Gray: Die. We picked the printing method that will allow the ink to sink into paper. They look and feel fantastic!! If you are using Jennifer McGuire's stamp storage system, the cards fit right in the sleeves. :)
Meet our First Design Team Member!
Hello Joni here, I am a mom to a 9 year old girl with a very supportive husband. I also just recently acquired my Bachelor of Science in Information System concentrating on Software Engineering degree last month. I recently am working as a Web Developer at the moment. I started venturing in making cards when my daughter was born, but did not really create my blog until the year of 2012. I love to use bold colors and dimensions on my projects. I also love to use different elements that are available that can be incorporated on my projects as well. Most of all I love creating my own backgrounds. I am so ecstatic to be working with Waffle Flower, since the owner and illustrator is a friend of mine who is also very creative in her crafts Nina Yang. I hope I will inspire you creating projects using her fabulous products.I met Joni on Facebook after winning a magazine stamping contest together. We very quickly became friends. Her unexpected use of products, attention to details and amazing use of color make me wow, over and over again. She is flourishing in our little stamping community and I am so proud of her. I love that she can make products shine while maintaining her unique style. You can find her beautiful work at her blog Papell with Love and connect with her on the following sites:
