The Waffle Flower Grip Mat is designed to gently hold your stencil and cardstock in place during stenciling and ink blending. When using cardstock alone, the smoother the paper, the better the grip. This mat reduces the need for taping significantly, allowing you to spend more time playing!

Made from high-quality photopolymer, stickiness is a natural property of the material. You can use this mat repeatedly without any adhesives or glue. Between uses, refresh the surface with a dampened, lint-free cloth. Peel the mat off the cardstock to minimize warping.


This 6.5x8.5 Grip Mat can be used in place of the black foam piece in the original size stamp positioning tool. Use the included printed Guide either below or above the mat to aid your placement when needed. To prevent any print transfer, always apply the Guide to the mat with the reversed side facing away from the mat.

If the mat loses its cling, clean it with water or photopolymer-safe cleaners. Rinse well under running water if using mild soap - do not leave it in the sink. Never use alcohol or other chemical-based cleaners. Return it to the transparent sheet for storage.

User experience may vary depending on the size, weight, and texture of the paper. Low spots and air bubbles are normal and should not affect the mat's ability to grip. Avoid contact with foiled images and fine glitters/powders. Avoid contact with sharp edges or abrasive materials. Wear and tear are expected with regular use.

Very sticky! :-)

Worked as promised, very well made and very easy to clean. Keeps paper where it needs to be. What else is there to say?

Lightly sticky with no paper damage

I use my Misti with magnets but my paper sometimes moves because the surface is slick. So next is low tack tape to hold things. Even low tack tape has messed up my paper depending on the type of paper. In comes WaffleFlower’s grip mat to my rescue! It holds papers still while I stencil, rub inks, stamp or whatever. Give it a try.

Works well in MISTI

The mat fits nicely in the MISTI and works great. At first, I didn’t think it gripped the paper very well but as soon as you start to put something on your paper, it hold firm.

Vital Tool!
