An updated version is coming Q2 2024.

The Waffle Flower Grip Mat is designed to gently hold your stencil and cardstock in place during stenciling and ink blending. When using cardstock alone, the smoother the paper, the better the grip. This mat reduces the need for taping significantly, allowing you to spend more time playing!

Made from high-quality photopolymer, stickiness is a natural property of the material. You can use this mat repeatedly without any adhesives or glues. Refresh the surface with a dampened lint-free cloth between uses. Peel the mat off the cardstock to minimize warping.

This 8.5x8.5 Grip Mat is the largest of the six sizes available today and fits our Stencil Mat. Use the included printed Guide either below or above the mat to aid your placement when needed. To prevent any print transfer, always apply the guide to the mat with the reversed side facing away from it.

If the mat loses its cling, simply clean it with water or photopolymer-safe cleaners. Rinse well under running water if using mild soap - do not leave it in the sink. Never use alcohol or other chemical-based cleaners. Return it to the transparent sheet for storage.

For more information, watch the 12-minute intro video here.

User experience may vary depending on the size, weight, and texture of the paper. Low spots and air bubbles are normal and should not affect the mat's ability to grip. Avoid contact with foiled images and fine glitters/powders. Avoid contact with sharp edges or abrasive materials. Wear and tear is expected with normal use.

Waffle Flower Grip Mats

I didn't put the size in the title because I have 4 different sizes! These are the BEST grip mats ever!! I keep one in an Original Misti, one in my Mini Misti, and a couple for "free lance" use. The hold my CS or envelopes without ripping the paper when I remove them, the hold stencils down perfectly, and I can ink blend on them easily. They are so versatile. I do use the 8.5 x 8.5 more than the 6" mat when blending or stenciling, so if you can only get one or the other get the bigger one. One tip for mats in a Misti, keep the original acetate cover over the top when not in use & they stay cleaner so you don't have to wash them as often. I would 'lose' mine on the desk, so I added washi tape on the top with a label, then another strip of washi tape across the bottom so it's easier to see the edges when I'm placing it back on top of the mat. Highly recommend these!

GREAT Product I never knew I needed!

Love this mat, it makes stamping a TRUE pleasure. I didn't realize how much I would love and use this product until I added it to my craft table. I did get the larger size which I LOVE, they do carry many size options for different stamping platforms. My one issue is the grid marking has peeled back from one of the covers. I currently have mine attached to a Glass Mat I work on, so it has visible grid lines from underneath, but I use the grid cover to keep it clean when not in use. I am not sure why, but a section of the grid peeled off of the window sheet and will probably completely come off in time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who paper crafts as I have done over and over on my YouTube channel. Thanks for making a really useful product that makes it EASIER to create!

Hello Rachael, thank you for the review. Did you know there is a front and back for the printed grids? Just need to remember to only apply the grid sheet with the reversed side facing up - or the paint may transfer. It's just the nature of the material that tends to 'grab' almost anything!
