For a layered look, die-cut the trees in green and white, then trim along the die lines on the white pieces to form perfect snowcaps. You can also tuck a piece of acetate or scrap paper under the branches to mask the snowcaps, letting you color the branches without affecting the snow. This tree die is a great addition to my stash. I like the size & texture. It looks great die cut from solid cardstock or add simple shading.
Unfortunately I had my cards done and and ran out of time to use my die. I know where it is for next fall. Or perhaps I may start my cards in July this next year.
Perfect for adding a nice touch to a snow scene. I appreciate that it can be cut easily and quickly, especially when other card elements take more time.
