October 2021 Challenge - Inspiration Week 4
Welcome to Waffle Flower Monthly Challenges!
Shaker Cards!
For October, we challenge you to create shakers. It could be cards, layouts or any paper crafting projects.
Our design team and guests will take turns sharing their takes on the challenge each week and we encourage you to think outside the box! Maybe try something like:
- 2 or more shaker sections on a card
- Huge/Full Panel shaker
- Shaped shaker cards
- A rainbow
- unusual shaker elements
This week's inspiration is brought to you by our design team member Arjita and her co-hosts Hussena and Karthikha!
Their twist is to make a project using A Rainbow of shakers!

This is a super fun card which features the A2 infinity shaker cover. I stamped the huge flower bunch on watercolour paper and coloured it in an assortment of colours to create a rainbow. I filled the shaker pocket with a ton of sparkly sequins and adhered it well from all four sides. This shaker cover comes with pre-scored lines and a strong double sided tape. I finished the card by stamping a sentiment on top with permanent black ink.

I'm so excited to be guest designing for the Waffle Flower Rainbow Shaker Challenge! I incorporated the rainbow theme by creating a soft, watercolored rainbow background. I used the Quilt Cover Panel Die to create not only my background, but also to add my Shaker Beads individually in each portion. The gorgeous flowers from the Anemone and Simple Stems Stamp Sets were simply perfect to create the centerpiece for my card.
