Fall Favorites!

For September, we challenge you to create a project using your fall favorites.  It could be cards, layouts or any paper crafting projects.

Our design team and guests will take turns sharing their takes on the challenge each week and we encourage you to think outside the box! Maybe try something like:
- shaker cards
- fall color themes
- leaves
- use an iconic fall image for 3 or more times on a card.
- Halloween
- Fall drinks
- harvest time

This week's inspiration is brought to you by our design team member Jeanne and her co-hosts Kelly and Lisa!

Their twist was to make a project using fall critters!

The cute little mice from Waffle Flower Hello Pumpkin Combo are colored with Copic Markers and layered on an inky background of original Distress Ink in Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Spun Sugar.  A sprinkle of JJ's rainbow enamel dots add more color and a glossy shine.

Fall in Western New York brings a chill in the air, so I just had to use the “Knitted Background Stencil” with some texture paste! It seemed perfect for the scarf on the cutest fall critter of all, Big Bear, out for a visit with his friends tucked in the woods…and everything is just starting to change to autumn’s finest colors!

When my granddaughter and I take walks together; she's always on the lookout for acorns, pretty leaves and little critters scampering about. She calls them treasures! Since she's in school this year, we'll have to settle for paper versions of those things. I've her made some treasures that will find their way to the mailbox this fall!
