More Creative Ideas Using Everyday Pattern Paper - Week 1

In this beautiful blue baby card by Jeanne, she used the Half-Half Lines Enchanted Paper Pad to create a graphic color-blocked background.  The directionality of the pinstripes really add a pop!

This card by JJ shows just one of the ways her JJ's Rainbows Paper Pad can be used with a die.  To get this look, she die cut half of one of the pages in the pad with the Hearts Panel die.  The die cut pattern fits perfectly in the pattern paper design!  Is that blowing your mind right now?  The cute kitty is our Be A Cat Die that was released in February 2020.

In these three cards by Nina, she used the Modern - Neutrals Paper Pad in the background.  The neutral coloring really allows her stamped images to pop off the page. There is lots of variety in this paper pad.

Galina cut out two pieces from the Cassie Loizeaux - Special Delivery Paper Pad. She used a thin glitter wash tape to add some embellishment.  The fence is cut out of white cardstock and then foam mounted on the card panel. She added leaves and birds to the fence . The birds are colored with Copic markers and the leaves with Distress inks.

In these two colorful cards Channin demonstrates the technique of rotating/inlaid die cutting. She used the JJ's Rainbows Paper Pad along with the Big Dots Die.

Mindy created a quilted rainbow card using the Half-Half Dots Botanical Paper Pad and the Half-Half Dots Enchanted Paper Pad along with the Color Combos Die. She began with adhering her "quilt" pieces onto an A2 panel of white cardstock. She trimmed to a smaller panel using the A2 Layers Die so that her quilting was framed.  Her sentiment shape was made with the Nesting Circles Die and Additional Circles Die.

Alix used the Cassie Loizeaux - Special Delivery Paper Pad to create this sweet, colorful card.  She die cut out one of the printed Special Delivery images with the Nesting Postages Die and foam mounted that on top of several layers of the coordinating pattern paper from this pad.

Rebecca's rainbow-tastic card uses a page from the JJ's Rainbow Paper Pad. The Be A Unicorn Die creates the main focal image.  She used a white gel pen to add some faux-stitching detail along the edges.  Who doesn't love a speech-bubbled sentiment?  She finished the card off with some Up & Running Enamel Dot embellishments.

Alix really shows off the marble pattern paper from the Modern - Neutrals Paper Pad.  She helped to create a focal point for her Oversized Thank You sentiment by doing a puzzle-inlay die cutting technique using the Nesting Squares Die.

Rebecca used the Half-Half Lines Enchanted Paper Pad to create the bright and fun background.  Pieces from the Go Girl Winter Die, Go Girl Summer Die, Sisterhood Stamp set  and the Go Girl Stamp set were all used to create her focal image and sentiment. She added some Nuvo drops to the necklace to give her gal some sparkle.

JJ created a quick and colorful card by creating a card base from the JJ's Rainbow Paper Pad and then die cutting a panel from white cardstock with the Big Dots Die. She created some dimension by popping up the panel with foam mounting dots and a simple sentiment finishes the card.
