More Creative Ideas Using January 2021 Release - Week 1
There is just a lot of hearts and love happening this month with our Hearts & Roses release!
Dana's card color combination is so lovely. I like how she used a the vellum scallop heart behind her sentiment. It helps to create a focal point without blocking any of that gorgeous stenciling.

I love that the Oversized Heart Combo is not just for love cards, but can also be used for encouragement cards. Channin's sky is filled with rainbow glittery heart balloons. She used a glitter paper for her focal sentiment.

Galina used both the mask and the stencil to create this card. She masked the heart and then stamped the background with the large sentiment stamp from the Love Letter stamp set. She then used the stencil with pink ink to color in her heart. She used clear glitter paste over it to create the sparkle. Her sentiment is heat embossed in white on black cardstock.

JJ has given us a couple examples of ways to use the Heart Frame Die for all occasion cards. She layered a white cardstock heart frame over a striped rainbow pattern paper for her outside border and then she used a rectangle die to cut out a window. She stamped her image in black and just added a touch of pink on the bear's nose and stamped a sentiment. Quick and easy!!

Here JJ stamped and Copic colored a sweet cat. The heart balloon is from the Heart Balloons stencil set, she used the stencil as a guide with a black pen to outline her balloon and then Copic colored it in. She free handed the balloon's string and bow. The panel is layered over a pattern paper, which is a quick way to add in a bit of color.

Galina die cut a white cardstock panel with the Heart Frame die. To create the background she then masked off the edges and added pink and yellow inks. She stenciled over that with reds and greens using the Heart Blooms Stencil Trio. She cut out the "Hugs" and ink blended to coordinate with her background colors.
