More Creative Ideas Using October 2020 Release - Week 4

These soft pastel tones make the perfect sympathy card.  JJ used papers from the Half Half Unicorn pads and the Deckled Frames Die was used to cut out the panel and the windows.  She layered various die cuts from the Sprigs Die set in the windows and add enamel dots as accents.

Another great example of the Deckled Frames.  Nina used the paper from the Happy Gnomes paper pad.  Those cute images are die cut using the Happy Gnomes Matching Die set.  The sentiment is from the Essential Sentiments Combo, which is an all occasion set that has matching dies to cut out the sentiments! It is definitely a must have for every card maker.

That sugary pink background for Jeanne's Copic colored poinsettias is so festive - pink is a fantastic holiday color. The deckled edge for her layers is such a fun design twist.

All of our panel dies can do double duty, as this peaceful twilight holiday scene shows. The tiny trees left over from cutting a rainbow panel card adorn the curved hillsides in such a cheery way!

Elyse die cut the Happy Birthday word die from sparkle card stock which she placed over the outline of vellum and hot pink card stock (TIP - placing vellum over brighter card stocks tones down those shades). The rainbow stripes underneath the stars panel is from the JJ's Rainbow paper pad, making a super quick background.

Try using your palest ink shades to create a dreamy, pastel card with these layered sunflowers for a completely different look! It's such a peaceful, soothing composition.

Galina shows us how different two cards can feel using the same rainbow striped pattern paper with the word die in different ways. 

The rainbow word die against the marble pattern paper is a modern yet classic look.
