Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by for Waffle Flower’s November 2020 Release day! Over the last 4 days, we’ve been rolling out all the release goodies on our blog including 3 stamp sets, 1 stamp-n-stencil combo, and 14 stencils! All of the products from this month’s release are already waiting for you on the website here!
In case you missed them, here are the intro post:
Day 1 - Background Trio 1
Day 2 - Spotlight Stencil Trio
Day 3 - Scene Building Stencils
Day 4 - JJ's Builder Stencils
This November we’re taking a break from our holiday card making and taking a look at some creativity boosters! For many of us, time in the craftroom is all about clearing the mind and recharging! That’s exactly what we’re hoping to do with our stencils and silhouettes release!

This month, we’ve added stencils to our catalog of products and we could not be more excited! For starters, we have the artsy trio: Ink Spots Stencil (stencil, bundle), Paint Strokes Stencil (stencil, bundle), and Inky Stripes Stencil (stencil, bundle). These stencils bring a perfectly imperfect handmade look to your backgrounds. This month, we have a set of stencils designed by cardmaker and DT member Keeway Tsao. Keeway’s Grass Scene Stencil (stencil, bundle), Mountain Scene Stencil (stencil, bundle), and Sky Scene Stencil (stencil, bundle) bring Keeway’s cute and charming style to landscape backgrounds. If you’re a fan of clean and geometric backgrounds, we have three stencils from cardmaker JJ Bolton: Stripes Builder Stencil (stencil, bundle), Infinite Petals Stencil (stencil, bundle), and Infinite Rings Builder Stencil duo (stencil, bundle). These stencils are designed to make a variety of repeating pattern backgrounds by simply turning the stencils or flipping them over. The Spotlight stencils are part of a series that can be used to stencil or mask a shape onto your backgrounds. The Spotlight Circle Stencil (stencil, bundle), Spotlight Square Stencil (stencil, bundle), and Spotlight Star Stencil (stencil, bundle) come with both the positive and negative pieces to create focal points on a background or mask off a clean space on your card front. Just in time for the holidays, we’ve got the Merry Bow Stencil (stencil) and Pine Trees (stencil). We’re just getting started this month, and you’ll definitely be seeing lots more of stencils in future monthly releases!
On the stamp side, the November release stamps sets all have something in common, beautiful and creative silhouettes! The Herb Silhouettes Stamp Set (stamp) includes beautiful images of natural herb stems that can be used for cards all year long. The Spotlight Holiday Elements Stamp Set (stamp) is the last of our holiday stamps this year and features modern silhouette stamps of Christmas sprigs. The last set is the Power Lines Stamp Set (stamp) by cardmaker JJ Bolton. This unique set celebrates the beauty in everyday things and features silhouette stamps that you can use to create simple but striking power lines landscapes.
Last on the release list is a new type of combo, the stamp set with coordinating stencils! The Fall for You Stencil-n-Stamp set by artist Cassie Loizeaux (stencil-n-stamp) combines the best of stamps and stencils. The stencils can be used to make a colorful background and the stamps are used to add focal points and fine details.
We hope you’re ready to see some of these goodies in action! We’ve got a full lineup of guest designers and team members in today’s Blog Hop! We hope you find some ideas that spark your creativity!
