A Freestyle Collage Card with Random Favorites & A Winner!
Lots of interesting things going on in there! I thought it would be fun to try stamping many different icons randomly on a card so I went play! And here is what I ended up with.
It is very different from my usual style but I had a blast making it! It is full of my favorites from our own stamp collection.
I wasn't sure about using the colors in the inspiration photo on a card so I looked for inspiration on my desk. The enamel dots and markers were on my table so I went with them.
I first used our "Shoot for the moon..." stamp from Starry Stamp Set. I put it face down on a acrylic block to use the smooth side for the circle. I brushed on orange and yellow with the markers, sprayed with water and stamped on the card base.
Then I scribbled the markers on my craft sheet, sprayed with water and used a paint brush to create some splatters. It was done by holding the wet brush about an inch from the card and tapping gently on its end for a few times.
Then I pulled out our Bowtiful Stamp Set to add some stars, hearts and bows to the card.
I decided to use the feathers from Feather More Stamp Set as my focal so I quickly stamped and die cut them out to help me position my stamps for the background. Rabbit, dreamcather are from Tribal Thank You Stamp Set; poppy, stem are from Flower Circles Stamp Set.
The sentiment is a combination of stamps from Bowtiful and Bowtiful Additions Stamp Set. The sentiments on these two sets are interchangeable.
The card looked a little off balance, so I added a thin strip of washi tape to the side as a finish touch. Another one of my favorites!
I had so much fun making this card! Maybe you can take out some of your favorite stamps and try stamping them in random too? Happy Stamping!
Planner - Stay Focused Blog Hop Grand Prize Winner
First of all, I want to thank each and everyone of you for joining us in our Planner - Stay Focused Blog Hop. It was my dream to have some planner stamps that can actually help us plan. Before the release day, I kept staring at the stamp sets and thought to myself: "Maybe we need more cute images... It is too basic, nobody's gonna want it...What have I done?..." and a few minutes later I would fall into the positive loop "I love it... who wouldn't?... People will like it..." I was very nervous. I want to thank the following wonderful ladies once again for joining us, bringing the stamp sets to life, giving them meaning, sharing with us a part of their lives along with their skills and their amazing talents. Thank you!Jennifer McGuire Joni Andaya Patricia Roebuck Katie Gehring Candi Billman Lorena Canto Kristina Werner Suzanne Dahlberg Debby Hughes
