What Channin Says:
I had a lot of fun with this month’s challenge! I made a single layer card which is super rare for me even though I love how they look (I find them a little intimidating). Using some of the circle stamps from the Flower Circles set, I stamped rows of circles in Waffle Flower inks; Chirp Chirp, New Fish in Pond, Daydreaming & You Said What. Then I took the cat from the On My Mark set, placed her on my acrylic block and then repositioned her to make it look like her back was curved upward. I then stamped the cat in black ink and stamped her in the center of my card. Then I stamped the balloons and a sentiment from On My Mark in black. Last, I stamped a little party hat from the Tiger & Lily stamp set on the cat’s head.

What York Tee Says:
From the inspiration photo, the homely living room inspired me to create a simple and cozy card to send some warm wishes. I used InstaLove Die to make my inlaid die-cutting and stamped the leaves using Loved Stamp Set. For the sentiment, I die cut the ‘H’ and ‘I’ from two different colors of cardstocks using Jumbo Letter HI Die and adhered them with foam squares. A kraft twine bow was added to the right top of the card. To ‘serve’ a cup of warm wishes, might be a cup of hot coffee or lemon tea: First, I blended a white cardstock with Ink Dye Daydreaming and You Said What by using sponge daubers, then stamped the image of a cup and the heart from Warm Wishes Stamp Set onto it. I cut out the images and adhered them to the card. Lastly, the wood grain sequins were added to complete the card.

Peace of Mind Dye Ink
New Fish In Pond Dye Ink
Like a Pro Dye Ink
What Tessa Says:
I loved the beachy feel of the inspiration this month. I used the doily boarder from the Doily Circle Stamp Set along with new ink colors Peace of Mind, New Fish in Pond, and Like a Pro, to create layers of waves on my white card base. I stamped and watercolored the anchor from the Life Anchor Stamp Set and then diecut it out using the matching Life Anchor Die. I added a little splatter before adhering my anchor with foam dots. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of vellum paper and added it to the card along with a bit of patterned paper. Lastly, I embellished with a bit of twine to finish it all off.
FABULOUS cards!!!
I am INSPIRED, sorry that I’m too late to join you in the challenge, fingers crossed for next month :)
