Inspiration from the Challenge Team - March 7, 2016

Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Shelly Kurth Products: Welcome Spring Stamp Set Tiny Wings Die Lacy Layers Die What Shelly Says: For my watercolor, I did some heat embossing in white and then used some distress markers with a wet paintbrush to add my watercolor to my flowers. Annette Allen Products: DT Mix Stamp Set Lotus Stamp Set What Annette Says: I just love to watercolor. I first created this fun watercolor background and I used the photo inspiration for my color combo. I set that aside and then worked on these pretty little flowers. I first stamped the flowers then watercolored again following the color combo from the photo. Trim and adhere all images using foam adhesives and you are done. Laura Jane Products: Doily Circle Die Doily Circle Stamp Set Lacy Flower Die Lacy Flower Stamp Set What Laura Jane Says: - I used a stencil made from the Doily Circle Die cut and inked up the negative space with distress inks then laid the "doily" die back on and added more color..then splashed some water on top and watched the colors work the magic:) - Added some splatter. - Inked and stamped the scallop from the Doily Circle set, then took a wet brush and followed the lines to bring the color out and make it look like a swag garland. - Die cut some LACY FLOWERS in white and adhered them to the base. - The sentiment is from LACY FLOWER stamp set. Guest: Amina Ishfaq Products: Claire Stamp Set Congrats Stamp Set What Amina Says: I had so much fun making this card for the for Waffle flower Crafts Challenge. The photo inspiration reminded me of spring and my daughter's love for strawberries. So I used the strawberry and heart stamps from 'Claire stamp set' and stamped over my card panel. I watercoloured them using inktense pencils with different shades of pink, red and green for the leaves. The sentiment and banner is from 'Congrats stamp set' which I fussy cut and added to my card.
