Intro to Coordinating Products for the Stitchables

Welcome to day 4 of the introduction to our new release! If you've been following us, you might have noticed that August is a special month for us. In 2018, we released Color Swatches; in 2019, we released Color Combos and in 2020, we are releasing the Stitchables!
Cross-stitch was my main hobby before cardmaking. I love how simple the supplies are so I can stitch almost anywhere; I love how many colorful threads there are to collect; I also love that we could follow a pattern and get a fairly good result every single time! The only problem I had was that I couldn't find a way to put all my stitched projects to good use.
This idea came when I fell in love with cross-stitch all over again back in January this year. Now I can stitch my heart out and turn them into cards!

Coordinating Products
New in this release:
Stitched Sentiments Stamp Set
4x6 stamp set; $16
This beautiful sentiment set is designed by our fellow cardmaker JJ Bolton. JJ prefers sewing over stitching so there are many sentiments that can be used in both occasions!
A2 Piercing Panel Die
4.25"x 5.5" panel; $20
This die cuts an A2 sized rectangle with gridded piercing holes (equivalent to 14ct Aida) for a dainty look. We love how Galina ink blended the panel to make the pattern more prominent.
You can also use the pierced holes as guides for stitching or use the die itself to quickly "poke out" the circles from the cutouts by the Stitchables.

Blanket Stitch Layers Die
$18; A set of 3 scalloped panels with piercing and blanket stitch details.

The biggest layer is great for adding some details for the Stitchable Borders!

This die has been popular ever since it came out back in 2018... I know, it's been a long time. I'm so glad to see it being used again!
You may have noticed from the sample below using the biggest hoop, the new Blanket Stitch Layers Die is actually a combination of 2 of our older dies that have been discontinued: A2 Lacy Layers and Patched Layers. The following card shows how the large hoop looks like on an A2 sized card.
Floss Bobbins Die

I usually keep my full skeins on StitchBow (affiliate link to Amazon) but I love using the tiny bobbin for the extra threads I'm holding for a project in progress!
Channin actually wrapped all her threads on the little bobbin!

Various Stamps
As you've seen earlier, the stitchables will work well with many of your existing stamps! I especially love Rebecca's card shown below. She flipped the 5.5" heart border and stitched them into a wave pattern. This is great for all ocean scenes! She used Mermaid Mail here, but do check out our Sea Birthday set released earlier in June!

It would have been interesting to see a new version of the floss bobbins die set, for example, with only the two smallest bobbins.
