Products Doily Circle Die Feather More Die Tiny Twine Bow Die
What York Tee Says: I started with die cutting the Doily Circle Die from coordinating cardstock and patterned papers. I “Puzzled” and replaced the cut pieces with the cardstock piece cut earlier, using tape on the back side of the Doily Circle to keep the inlaid piece in place. To inlaid the Doily to the heart shaped frame, I cut out the inner heart shaped frame, overlay the Doily that I puzzled earlier to the frame, die cut them with the same heart shaped frame lit. Repeat the steps of inlaid die cutting for the remaining outer heart shaped frame and Mini Twine Bow. Then, I cut Feathers in a separate white card base, and inlay the shimmering gold Feathers into the opening. Lastly, I “overlay” (cut and inlaid) the whole heart shaped frame that I completed earlier to the card based.

Products Rain Check Stamp Set Partly Cloudy Die Flower Circles Die
What Tessa Says: I diecut some patterned paper with the largest circle from the Flower Circle Die as a base for my sunny sky. Next, I cut out the cloud shape from the edges of the circle. I also diecut the cloud from white cardstock and layed it into the area I had cut from the circle. I love how the clouds go over the edge of the circle! I also inlaid the sun layer, cutting it out of orange and yellow cardstock and inlaying the center of the sun.

[Guest] Fun Ways to Use Your Word Dies

on March 19, 2015
Hello everyone! Our friend Virgina is here to share photo tutorials for two beautiful cards she's made with us! We love the use of color on her cards and the ways she used our With Love Word Die! --- Dear Waffleflower friends, I am Virginia Lu from Yes, Virginia… blog. I am so honored to share my love of Waffle Flower Stamps with you today. I honestly had a hard time choosing which stamp set to use when I went about this guest design work. Her are what I came up with: Card #1 guest designer virginia lu photo #1
  1. Create several dies with the set called ”With Love Word Die
  2. Make bows with “Bowtiful” and DCWV paper
  3. Start with the strips of paper and bow in the middle
guest designer virginia lu photo #2
  1. Glue the dies
  2. Trim off the excess
  3. Adhere sequins and dies
  4. Make a bow with silver strings
guest designer virginia lu photo #3 (with bow) I also stamped a flower (from “In Every Way”) and added to the bow for the extra pop of color and interest. This card requires little stamping and I think anyone can create a card like this! Card #2 guest designer virginia lu photo #4
  1. Gather colorful inks and start stamping flowers with “In Every Way” stamps
  2. Make 2 dies with white and black card stock
  3. Glue them together, but slightly offset
guest designer virginia lu photo #5
  1. After stamping the flowers, position the die
  2. Use a paper-piercer and a rule, start piercing the holes
  3. Hand-stitching the sentiment with silver thread
guest designer virginia lu photo #6 (with flowers) Thank Waffle Flower for inviting me to guest design here! I had a blast playing with the Stamps and Dies. I know that I will continue to reach for them in the future. I am so happy that you stopped by to check out my guest design projects today! --- Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Virginia! This is actually my first shaker card. I like how it turned out and really enjoyed making it! waffle-flower-hello-bowtiful-sequins-shaker-card First, I die cut a circle from my card base (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") and adhered a piece of acetate to its back. waffle-flower-hello-bowtiful-sequins-shaker-card-acetate Then, I die cut the same circle from some craft foam and adhered the window piece to the back of the card front. waffle-flower-hello-bowtiful-sequins-shaker-card-sequins Pour some sequins in! I used Woodlands Mix and Gold Stars from Pretty Pink Posh. I then cut a backing piece of white cardstock and stamped some stars for a colorful background. waffle-flower-hello-bowtiful-sequins-shaker-card-stamping-confetti-stars I then stamped the bow from our Bowtiful Stamp Set and cutout with our Bowtiful Die Set to create a fun embellishment for the window. waffle-flower-hello-bowtiful-sequins-shaker-card-stamping-on-foam I kinda like how the sequins are adhering to the edges! waffle-flower-hello-bowtiful-sequins-shaker-card.jpg-side Sequins make me happy! Meet Our Design Team!

I'm a 30-something crafty girl born and raised in the Boston area, where I currently live with my husband and our dog. By day, I work as a cancer researcher, and by night I spend lots of time in my craft room. I began papercrafting in 2005, and since then I have scrapbooked big events like my wedding and travel, but I have mostly focused on cards after meeting two other card-makers at my local stamp store. This hobby is the perfect stress release for me, and I cherish so many of the friends I've made as a result of it. I am so excited to be joining Nina in her new adventure!
I enjoyed all the design teams I joined. Not only did I get to work with wonderful products, I also got to meet some wonderful people. I met Suzanne when I was on Neat and Tangled team. Suzanne's cards always speak Spring and happiness to me. I adore her clean and fresh style and think she's the queen of mixing and matching patterned paper on cards. You can find her beautiful creations on her blog: Freshly Noted and connect with her on the following sites:

Facebook Instagram Pinterest YouTube Flickr

I am truly grateful for the ladies joining me in this startup. I didn't think too much about their styles mixing, I just like their work and like them as people. The team blends very well together. I can't wait to see what inspiration they will bring us. I am very blessed to have them. Our design team will have separate giveaways on their blogs for each of our releases. Check them out often!
