It's Lorena today with a Valentine edition of our Five for Friday.
You may have noticed the title of this post is "stolen" from a film. "Love, actually" is one of my all time favorite titles, and even though many catalogue it as a Christmas movie, what I adore about it is how it depicts so many different kinds of love. So there comes my inspiration for this post: many different kinds of love!
I guess a good point for starting is romantic love, and this cute bananas idea made me smile (and reminded me of the whole Willy & Friends
Other beautiful form of love is love for children, not only our kids, which I know is one of the deepest loves one can feel, but also the love for all children, which represents our love for mankind and our hope in the future
Of course, in a love list I need to include pets! Animal love is perhaps one of the purest forms of love. They love unconditionally, they don’t judge us, and they sure know how to make themselves a place in our hearts.
Another one I want to mention is love for our environment, love for nature and for all the beautiful natural wonders that surround us. Oh, and I chose this image because believe, hugging a tree is an amazing, powerful and recharging experience. Promise!
Last, but not least, is love for others. This quote by the ever charming Audrey Hepburn sums it up beautifully. I’m talking the kind of love that moves us to help other people: compassion. The love that we show towards others in need, the love that makes me believe in mankind.
And you see, for today I obviously bring you a Love card…
The star of the show is the Papercut Alpha
die, which is super easy to line up. The stamped sentiment comes from Tribal Bear
I also put to work the cute flowers included in Leafy
stamp set and coordinating dies. I used the outline version and colored it with Copic markers and some Wink of Stella
clear glitter. There’s also a solid version of this flower in the set, that allows making an even quicker card.
And there you go! Much love to you all, I hope you have a fantastic Valentine Day this Sunday!
