on July 25, 2016
Hello everyone! We are teaming up with our friends at Xyron to bring you some fun projects every day of the week! Don't forget to checkout the awesome giveaway prizes at the end of this post! We have Patricia Roebuck on the blog today! Take it away, Patricia! Xyron-Waffle-Flower-1-YouAreFintasticCard Waffle Flower Supplies: Xyron Supplies: Xyron Creative Station After I used the Waffle Flower inks to blend in the water and sand on my card panel, I die cut the waves from the panel. I stamped and colored all of the images, then die cut each one out. I sent them all through the Xyron Creative Station! All I had to do was adhere everything into place. To get my waves to pop back up, I used a paint brush and baby powder to apply to the waves to remove the stickiness. --- Patricia

[Five for Friday] No-line Coloring with Alice Wertz

on August 14, 2015
Hello everyone! We invited our friend and coloring expert Alice Wertz to share with us today! WFLotusFeatured Alice used Antique Linen Distress Ink to stamp the images and then colored them with Copic markers. She then used a brown Copic Multiliner to add the eyes and smiles to the faces.

Card 1

WFWillyNFriendsThankYouABunch Alice used the banana stamp from Willy & Friends Stamp Set to create a fun random background for her "3D looking" monkey on this card! How cool is that gradient coloring on the speech bubble?

Card 2

WFWillyNFriendsNeedAHugS On her second card, Alice watercolored her background and layered her card beautifully with a doily, a piece of washi tape and a couple of enamel dots! The color combo is just delightful!

Card 3

WFTigerNLilyS We think *Tiger* (the shark) wants to share his strawberry cake with us! Shall we take it? LOL Alice also cut the wave line with a craft knife to tuck the shark in water! So fun!

Card 4

WFHibiscus This toucan bird card is perfection!

Card 5

WFLotusS This lotus card is a team favorite! It showcases one of the many benefits of no-line coloring: to achieve a very realistic look! We love how Alice colored the dragonflies too! --- Thank you for sharing these amazing cards with us today, Alice! Find time to create and make something today!
