Hello everyone! Anna here! I combined Welcome Spring stamp set with the cute and fun little monkey from Willy & Friends stamp set. I think everyone who has seen these two sets together would want to put the cute little animals on the monkey's head. I also decided to put the monkey into the basket (- I mean, just look at his eyes! he must be eyeing it for a long time!). Bunny and kitty were on his back and got in the basket too. As a final touch, I added the little hat from Willy & Friends to the kitty's head. I made the background with the tulips from Welcome Spring set using no-line coloring technique. I stamped them with light-grey inks and then colored and blended the background with green and blue Distress inks. -Anna Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Anna! Your scene completes Willy's mischievous look! What fun!

Hi everyone! It’s Torico here and I am so thrilled to be guest designing for Waffle Flower! As Easter is just around the corner, I decided to create an Easter themed shaker card for today. First I stamped the grass image from the Egg Hunt stamp set repeatedly on a white panel and colored them with Copics. After I masked them, I daubed some light pink dye ink and stamped the sentiment in black. I cut another white panel and cut out a rectangle window from it using the Lacy Layers Die. After I added a piece of acetate to the window I adhered a yellow scalloped frame cut with the Lacy Layers Die. For my shaker elements I put several Easter eggs along with some sequins and glitters. I white embossed the eggs from the Egg Hunt stamp set onto colored card stock (pink, purple, and aqua), colored some part of them with Copics, and cut them out using the matching die. I stamped, colored, and die cut Clair from the Willy & Friends stamp set, and gave her a pair of cute bunny ears from the Welcome Spring stamp set. She looks like she is enjoying an Easter egg hunt! Thank you for stopping by! -Torico

Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Annette, Shelly, Laura Jane and our previous Gust Spot winner Laura Dovalo are hereto share their takes on the February Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our challenge too!
What Annette Says: I first choose a piece of designer paper that I thought was perfect for the photo inspiration and die cut using Flower Circles Die. I cut this same shape out again using white textured card-stock. I then adhered the shape to my card base inlaying it directly to the card. I then stamped this sweet image from the Willy & Friends Stamp Set, colored, die cut and adhere to card using foam adhesives along with the sentiment and pretty bow from Good Stuff Stamp Set.
What Shelly Says: I started by stamping each of my flowers and coloring them in with markers. After, I used the matching dies and ran them through my machine. Once done, I set them aside for the time being. I then started to make my 'scene' so to speak, using my flowers on a piece of white cardstock. One at a time, I placed a die where I wanted my flower to be and ran it through my machine. After, I placed my COLORED die cut piece (again, one at a time) on my white cardstock where I previously had my flower and used my die in the negative spot next to my colored flower. So it would trim my colored flower to fit perfectly with the others. Giving me my 'inlaid die cutting' technique. To finish things off, I used the 'with love' word die to place over the top of my flowers.
What Laura Jane Says: I masked off the heart shape from Flutter Stamp Set and stamped several flower layers from the DT Mix Stamp Set in colors suggested in the inspiration photo. I then used the With Love Word Die to cut out and inlay the sentiment in GOLD paper.
Guest (Challenge Winner): Laura Dovalo
What Laura Says: I was inspired by the fabulous tones of pink in the February palette and combined a couple of the stamps from the Flower Circle Stamp Set with the matching Flower Circle Die to make this retro style card. The inlay technique is probably one of my favorites and I used it to insert the pieces of the large flower into the background, as well as the pretty sentiment (With Love Word Die). Thanks for letting me play with you this month, it was a lot of fun!

Emily here and I'm so happy to be guesting on the Waffle Flower blog today with this Chinese New Year card and video! I wanted to use the monkeys from Willy & Friends with the Christmas set Stockings and a sentiment from Congrats to show how versatile all of these sets can be. I coloured the monkeys and gift/red envelope with Copic markers and die cut them with their coordinating dies. Then I tied gold string around the red envelope, heat embossed the sentiment in gold and painted the edges of the card base with gesso. After assembling the card, I added a yellow enamel heart to the girl monkey's belly. I'll have to make a bunch more of these cuties to send out!

Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Annette, Shelly, and Laura Jane are here, along with our previous challenge winner Quyen Ngo to share their takes on the January Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our challenge too! Monochrome Stamp Set, Doily Square Die, Willy and Friends Die
What Annette Says: I first die cut Waffle Flowers Crafts: Doily Square Die and then used it as a stencil. Using dabblers I added this fun colorful blend of colors. I then die cut the middle using the Doily Square Die and created a fun window almost like if you were going to create a shaker card just minus the sequins. Finishing off with rounding the corners. In Every Way Stamp Set; Loved Stamp Set; Tiny Wings Die
What Shelly Says: For my stenciling, I chose to make my own stencil using the Tiny Wings die. I took a piece of scrap paper and one by one placed the butterfly where I wanted it and ran it through my die cutting machine. Thus giving me my stencil.Magical Stamp Set; Holiday Labels: Merry; In Every Way Stamp Set; Surface - Tag Die - Scallop Add-on
What Laura Says: For my card I started out with a stencil made from the Tag Scallop Die. To create a "window", I inked it up with Distress Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Seedless Preserves. Then I added several snowflakes and trees, embossed in different colors, for a wintery scene. Finished it off with the Magical Die in Silver paper:)
[Guest] Quyen NgoUsing: Bowtiful Stamp Set
What Quyen Says: I used distress inks in peacock feathers and tumbled glass to sponge on a template. I then repositioned the template slightly offset and used a white gelly roll pen to trace over the spaces. After the ink was dried, I stamped the sentiment and bow image (from Waffle Flower bowtiful stamp set) in VersaFine Onyx Black and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. As it was a simple card, to finish, I rounded the outer edges and put on some gems in random places for a little sparkle.___ Aren't these cards fantastic?
