To usher this new challenge in and to give you all some inspiration we have our September challenge winner, Eva, sharing a beautiful card she created featuring the Succulents Stamp Set! Take away Eva! ;)

Hello everyone! I am Eva. I am absolutely excited and thankful to be a guest designer for Waffle Flower Crafts this month. Thank you very much to the whole Waffle Flower team for giving me this opportunity. I have made a card, inspired by the November Challenge photo/color combo. wfc-20161110-awesome-flowers-eva-7-jpeg First I die cut some words using the Awesome word die, and glued them on a piece of white cardstock to create my background panel. I love this die!!!Then I stamped some flowers from the Succulents stamp set, using Versamark ink and clear embossing powder and colored them with Distress ink. The flowers were adhered to the panel, with 3d foam to add dimension and applied perfect pearl.  wfc-20161110-awesome-flowers-eva-2-jpeg I cut my panel diagonally. At the bottom of the card I added an Awesome word die cut out of violet cardstock and foam. To finish my card, I inked the edges with grey Distress ink, added a ribbon and some sequins. I hope you like it! wfc-20161110-awesome-flowers-eva-3-jpeg wfc-20161110-awesome-flowers-eva-4-jpeg wfc-20161110-awesome-flowers-eva-5-jpeg Inside the card I stamped a flower and then used the Welcome spring stamp set to add some stripes and the partial sentiment YOU'RE, from the Succulent stamp set. wfc-20161110-awesome-flowers-eva-6-jpeg I hope you enjoyed and found some inspiration. Have a wonderful day! Eva   Supplies: Awesome Word Die Succulents Stamp Set Welcome Spring Stamp Set

Hello everyone! Thank you for patiently waiting on us choosing the winning projects for our Jumbo Letter Die Catalog Challenge and without further ado, the 5 projects are: (in the order they were submitted) B&W Card by Laura Dovalo We love the clean and graphic look of Laura's Card. The colorful "U" pops against the cleverly created background using the letter diecuts in black and white. We love how she made all the elements on her card work together to bring out the "story": you color my world! laura-dovalo Cool Pattern Card by ScRapEva Eva's card is such a fun play on color and dimension. Did you notice that the purple/blue decorative border at the bottom is created using the center part of Jumbo Letter A Die? Thanks for bringing out the possibilities, Eva! scrapeva Fun in the Sun Card by Bonico de Corazón We couldn't help but smiling right back at the fish on Bonico's card! He's even cuter peeking from behind the letters! And the fun little circles (bubbles?) bonico-de-corazon-sun   LOVE banner by Yuu Izumi Yuu's banner is a classy beauty. We love the balance of the project: With Jumbo Letter dies taking the center stage, there are just the right amount of details / supporting pieces to keep you looking! yuu-izumi Hello Card by Hannah We are so glad that Hannah got to submit her card in time! Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Issa, York Tee, Tessa and Channin are here to share their takes on this month’s Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our September challenge too! wfc-201609-photo

Isha Gupta

Products: A Bunch Stamp Set Mini Trifold Notes Die Chunky Chevron Die wfc-9-19-isha-gupta What Isha Says: I got inspired by the colors. The white space, texture and the circles of the garlands floating around. I did some dry embossing using the chevron die for added texture!

Ong York Tee

Products: Sketchy Numbers Stamp Set Sketchy Alpha Stamp Set Rock My World Stamp Set Tiny Twine Bow Die Rosette Hearts Template Die Ink – Dye – Daydreaming Ink – Dye – You Said What Ink – Dye – Safe Choice wfc-9-19-ong-york-tee What York Tee Says: The color combination, circle garland and the decorative items in the inspiration photo inspired me to come out with this card. I dabbed the Ink Dye Daydreaming, Safe Choice and You Said What randomly onto a white cardstock to create my own background. I stamped the sentiments with black ink. Instead of circles, I die cut tiny bows from various colored cardstock to make a garland. Next, I created two rosette hearts using Rosette Heart Template Die and adhered them in the middle of the card. Lastly, resin bows were added to the rosette hearts.

Tessa Wise

Products: Little Gifts 3D Die Little Gifts Stamp Set Bowtiful Stamp Set Peace on Earth Stamp Set wfc-9-19-tessa-wise What Tessa Says: I had to use the new Little Gifts 3D Die for my card this month- it is just so cute! I cut some mini bags from different patterned paper and cardstock.

Channin Pelletier

Products: Leafy Stamp Set Congrats Stamp Set My Pleasure Dye Ink Tickled Pink Dye Ink Oh Happy Day Dye Ink Daydreaming Dye Ink wfc-sept-3 What Channin Says: I just love the beautiful colors found in the inspiration photo, so I started there. First, I blended My Pleasure, Tickled Pink, Oh Happy Day, and Daydreaming at the lower right corner of a 5” by 6 ½” white card base. I then stamped and gold embossed several flowers and foliage from the Leafy Stamp Set over the blended portion. I then stamped and gold embossed a sentiment from the Congrats Stamp Set. Lastly, I adhered some gold sequins. I hope you enjoyed!
Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Daria, Marcie and Shona are here to share their takes on this month’s Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our September challenge too! wfc-201609-photo Marcie Sharp Products: Balloon Messages Stamp Set Balloon Messages Die Bowtiful Stamp Set Magical Stamp Set Magical Word Die Doily Circle Stamp Set Sentiments Die Daydreaming Ink Happy Go Lucky Ink wfc-9-12-marcie-sharp What Marcie Says: The inspiration photo this month brings celebrations to mind and I wanted to create a card that channelled fun and excitement. I trimmed my base slightly narrower than 4" so the balloons could over-hang and still fit in a standard A2 envelope easily. Sparkly silver embossing powder helps the Magical sentiment shine. This card screams party-time! Shona Chambers Products: Celebrate Word Die Balloon Messages Stamp Set Congrats Stamp Set Waffle Flower Inks – New Fish in pond, You said what?, Safe Choice, Daydreaming and Coffee Loves Milk wfc-9-12-shona-chambers What Shona Says: I stamped each balloon twice with Waffle Flower inks. To get the aqua colour I stamped first with ‘Daydreaming’ and then overtop with ‘New Fish in Pond’. I fussy cut all the balloons out and popped them up on foam tape. The ‘celebrate’ was die-cut from gold cardstock with a few from white cardstock to give it stability. The rest of the sentiment was heat embossed in gold. Daria Grushina Products: In Every Way Stamp Set With Love Die Tiny Trio Dies wfc-9-12-daria-grushina1 wfc-9-12-daria-grushina2 What Daria Says: My starting point was the garland. It is so bright and beautiful on the inspiration photo. So, I took the smallest flower from In Every Way Stamp Set and made my own... To incorporate some glass texture, I made the card half transparent using an acetate. While adding little glittery hearts, I though about using the second piece of Tiny Heart Die on a string. That is how the second card was born. I am not sure, but it is possible, I saw something similar... but, unfortunately, couldn't find the original... I finish up both cards with the sentiment from With Love DIe. Thank you for stopping by! Join the fun by linking your projects here!

Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Shelly, Laura Jane, Katie and our challenge guest Galina Filippenko are here to share their takes on this month’s Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our September challenge too! wfc-201609-photo Shelly Kurth Products: Doily Circle Stamp Set Warm Wishes Stamp Set Congrats Stamp Set Celebrate Word Die Sentiments Die WFC 9-5 Shelly Kurth What Shelly Says: Using the Doily Circle Stamp Set, I stamped on some 'strings' in white ink on clear vellum. After, I stamped on my little circles using the Warm Wishes Stamp Set. Once done, I used some distress markers to color them in. For my card base, I added some patterned paper over my cardstock, then adhered my stamped vellum piece over it. Afterwards, I added my sentiment pieces, some twine, and a mini clothespin to my card. Sweet and simple, yeah?!... Laura Jane Products: Flower Circles Stamp Set Lacy Layers Die My Pleasure Dye Ink WFC 9-5 Laura Jane What Laura Jane Says: I simply stamped the images from Flower Circle Stamp Set in colors inspired by the photo onto white cardstock. I inked a frame cut with Lacy Layers Die, in Color Story My Pleasure, and adhered all to a card base with washi on the edges. Katie Gehring Products: 100% Love Stamp Set You Said What Dye Ink Tickled Pink Dye Ink WFC 9-5-Katie Gehring What Katie Says: The colors and the fun polka dot garland were the inspiration for my card. I used the 100% Love Stamp Set stamping both the front and back of the Thank You circle to create the row of large dots. Next, I added more detail using the tiny images included in the stamp set. I love how they look like a confetti border. Finally some clear droplets add a finishing touch without taking attention away from the fun colors. Guest Designer Galina Filippenko (2 cards) Card 1 Products: Little Mermaids Stamp Set Shellabrate Stamp Set WFC 9-5 Galina Filippenko1 What Galina Says: I created the shaker card using cutest stamp set, Little Mermaids. For my card I chose the color palette from inspirational picture. Little mermaid brings all her stuff to her new friend - Turtle. Now Turtle looks fintastic :) I think my BF will love this card, it's so girly :) Card 2 Products: Shellabrate Stamp Set WFC 9-5 Guest Galina Fileppenko2 What Galina Says: For this card, I used inspirational color palette too. I made this card for my mom to say thanks for her support. I colored the cute turtles with Copic markers and stamped bubbles with white ink on blue cardstock. Thank you for stopping by! Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Channin, Isha, York Tee and Tessa are here to share their takes on this month’s Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our August challenge too! wfc-201608-photo Channin Pelletier Products: Flower Circles Stamp Set On My Mark Stamp Set Tiger & Lily Stamp Set Chirp Chirp Dye Ink New Fish in Pond Dye Ink Daydreaming Dye Ink You Said What Dye Ink WFC 8-22 Channin Pelletier What Channin Says: I had a lot of fun with this month’s challenge! I made a single layer card which is super rare for me even though I love how they look (I find them a little intimidating). Using some of the circle stamps from the Flower Circles set, I stamped rows of circles in Waffle Flower inks; Chirp Chirp, New Fish in Pond, Daydreaming & You Said What. Then I took the cat from the On My Mark set, placed her on my acrylic block and then repositioned her to make it look like her back was curved upward. I then stamped the cat in black ink and stamped her in the center of my card. Then I stamped the balloons and a sentiment from On My Mark in black. Last, I stamped a little party hat from the Tiger & Lily stamp set on the cat’s head. Isha Gupta Products: Shellabrate Stamp Set Shellabrate Die WFC 8-22 Isha Gupta What Isha Says: I love the cool hues along with muted yellow and that is what inspired me to create this card. The images are perfect for this lovely color inspiration. Ong York Tee Products: Loved Stamp Set Warm Wishes Stamp Set InstaLove Die Jumbo Letter HI Die Daydreaming Dye Ink You Said What Dye Ink WFC 8-22 Ong York Tee What York Tee Says: From the inspiration photo, the homely living room inspired me to create a simple and cozy card to send some warm wishes. I used InstaLove Die to make my inlaid die-cutting and stamped the leaves using Loved Stamp Set. For the sentiment, I die cut the ‘H’ and ‘I’ from two different colors of cardstocks using Jumbo Letter HI Die and adhered them with foam squares. A kraft twine bow was added to the right top of the card. To ‘serve’ a cup of warm wishes, might be a cup of hot coffee or lemon tea: First, I blended a white cardstock with Ink Dye Daydreaming and You Said What by using sponge daubers, then stamped the image of a cup and the heart from Warm Wishes Stamp Set onto it. I cut out the images and adhered them to the card. Lastly, the wood grain sequins were added to complete the card. Tessa Wise Products: Life Anchor Stamp Set Life Anchor Die Doily Circle Stamp Set Peace of Mind Dye Ink New Fish In Pond Dye Ink Like a Pro Dye Ink WFC 8-22 Tessa Wise What Tessa Says: I loved the beachy feel of the inspiration this month. I used the doily boarder from the Doily Circle Stamp Set along with new ink colors Peace of Mind, New Fish in Pond, and Like a Pro, to create layers of waves on my white card base. I stamped and watercolored the anchor from the Life Anchor Stamp Set and then diecut it out using the matching Life Anchor Die. I added a little splatter before adhering my anchor with foam dots. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of vellum paper and added it to the card along with a bit of patterned paper. Lastly, I embellished with a bit of twine to finish it all off.

Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Marcie, Shona and Daria are here to share their takes on this month’s Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our August challenge too! wfc-201608-photo Marcie Sharp Products: Leafy Stamp Set Lacy Flower Stamp Set Good Stuff Stamp Set WFC 8-15 Marcie Sharp What Marcie Says: The picture of the seagull on the mantel caught my eye this month, as well as all the glass vases and jars. I incorporated them all into my card by watercolouring a light wash background onto watercolour paper to replicate the seagull picture. Then I stamped and watercoloured the flower in the jar and fussy cut it. After adhering it with foam tape I stamped my sentiment and added a few clear sequins for fun. Shona Chambers Products: Celebrate Word Die Flower Circles Inverted Die Lacy Flower Mats Dies Congrats Stamp Set WFC 8-15 Shona Chambers What Shona Says: I went die-cutting crazy for this one!! I die cut the different layers using paint chips and wood veneer paper, adhered them all together and then popped them all up on foam tape. The ‘celebrate’ is also cut from wood veneer paper, glued with two more from white card stock for dimension and then covered in lashings of Wink of Stella. Daria Grushina Products: Leafy Stamp Set In Every Way Stamp Set WFC 8-15 Daria Grushina What Daria Says: Being inspired by the soft colors of the inspiration photo, I've blended some inks on my background through a Moroccan tile stencil, added flower and sentiment in black and finish it up with a blue bird. We have a song about blue bird of happiness :) So I have decided to make it as a symbol of happiness - being together.
