Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Isha, York Tee, Tessa and our new challenge team member Channin are here to share their takes on this month’s Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our challenge too! wfc-201605-photo

Isha Gupta

Products: Lacy Flowers Die Holiday Labels: Give Thanks Stamp Set WFC 5-16 Isha Gupta

York Tee

Products: Loved Stamp Set Feather More Stamp Set Succulents Stamp Set Stay Focused Die Mini Trifold Notes Template Die Rosette Hearts Template Die Rock My World Die Set Amazing Word Die Fall Blend Ink Pad Winter Blend Ink Pad WFC 5-16 Ong York Tee What York Tee Says: The blue card base layered with patterned harlequin-style diamonds was inspired by the blue wall and the texture of the basket of the photo. The flower printed chair prompted me to layer a panel at the center of the card - a notepad which I die cut it from Stay Focused Die Set. I stamped the flowers and leaves at the left bottom corner of the notepad using the Loved Stamp Set and ink pads from Fall and Winter Blend according to the color palette given. I die cut an oval shaped from a basket textured patterned paper using Rock My World Die Set. I attached a mini envelop which I die cut from Mini Trifold Notes Template Die. I held it with mini cloth peg. The sentiment is a mix of the Amazing Word Die and a sentiment from Feather More Stamp Set and Succulents Stamp Set each.

Channin Pelletier

Products: Willy & Friends Stamp Set Tiger & Lily Stamp Set Calendar Numbers Stamp Set On My Mark Stamp Set Flower Circles Inverted dies Yippee Word Die WFC 5-16 Channin Pelletier What Channin Says: The beautiful color combo in this picture inspired me! I had a lot of fun and combined several sets and dies to create my little scene. I stamped images from the Willy & Friends, Tiger & Lily, and Calendar Numbers sets on white cardstock and colored them with my copics. However, I did stamp my little monkey on kraft paper to stretch my copic color range. After I fussy cut all my little images I created a shaker card using the Flower Circles. I blended inks on my back panel then stamped a sentiment from On My Mark in black and added a little white gel pen to make it pop. Lastly, I used the Yippee word die to cut “Yippee” out of black cardstock, then adhered it all together and added glitter, glossy accents, and white gel pen accents.

Tessa Wise

Products: In Every Way Stamp Set With Love Word Die WFC 5-16 Tessa Wise What Tessa Says: I was inspired by the colors and the florals in the image. I stamped out the flowers from the In Every Way Stamp Set in different shades of pink and purple and then added the outline in black so it would really pop.
Thank you for sharing with us, Ladies! You're amazing!

Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Shelly, Laura Jane, Katie and Lorena are here to share their takes on this month’s Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our challenge too! wfc-201605-photo Marcie Sharp Products: Shower Stamp Set Lacy Flower Mats Die WFC 5-9 Marcie Sharp What Marcie Says: I loved the colours for this month's inspiration and based my card on them. That little bucket full of umbrellas in the bottom corner of the picture didn't escape my notice. I stamped all my elements from the Shower Stamp Set, then heat embossed the sentiment in gold. For the "clouds" I die cut one of the Lacy Flower Mats Dies several times, cut them in half, and covered them in glitter. It was a perfect way to stretch my supplies! Daria Grushina Products: Leafy Stamp Set Tribal Bear Stamp Set WFC 5-9 Daria Grushina What Daria Says: As a starting point, I decided to use the May palette. It is very unusual for me, but I love the challenge. I stamped lots of leaves from Leafy stamp set to mimic the busy photo inspiration and colored them with Copics using May color palette. In spite of brown I used copper color - I think it adds a lot of interest. I ended up with very untypical card with lots of details :) Shona Chambers Products: Loved Stamp Set Flower Circles Die WFC 5-9 Shona Chambers What Shona Says: I started off by marking the inside circle of the Flower Circle Die on the card front with pencil, so I knew where it would cut. I then stamped away with images from the Loved Stamp Set, die-cut the flower from it and then inlaid another flower from a pale blue/grey paint chip. Patricia Roebuck Products: Planner Add-On: Weather 1 Planner Add-On: Weather 2 Planner: Stay Focused Stamp Set Faye Stamp Set Willy Stamp Set WFC 5-9 Patricia Roebuck What Patricia Says: The colors, the flowers, the umbrellas, and the bright feeling from the photo inspiration, inspired me to made a shaker card using the planner stamps for the weather as the little shaker windows, welcoming the pretty spring flowers after all of the cloudy and rainy days. A great way to cheer someone up. I used the soft blue and pretty aqua/green colors from the photo for my card base. Then made the white base for the shakers smaller to leave a big border, similar to the feeling I get from the photo inspiration with lots of color and white to balance it. And, of course, I had to include a little umbrella, all closed up and saying goodbye to the rain and hello to the flowers. I colored the little fussy cut flowers from the Fay Stamp Set with Copics and Chameleon markers in colors from the photo inspiration. Guest Designer Lindsay Amrhein Products: Succulents Stamp Set WFC 5-9 Guest Lindsay Amrhein What Lindsay Says: Creating this card uses a few of my favorite techniques, including masking, and coloring. I started by stamping my images onto a white panel, and masked the flowers as I went around the edges. I colored them with Copic Markers, and sponged on a light blue ink. I stamped my sentiment, added a few sequins, and adhered my panel to a Kraft card base using foam adhesive. Masking is a great way to add dimension, and interest without making your card bulky or thick!

Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Shelly, Laura Jane, Katie and Lorena are here to share their takes on this month’s Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our challenge too! wfc-201605-photo Shelly Kurth Products: Tribal Bear Stamp Set Tribal Bear Die Lacy Layers Die WFC 5-2 Shelly Kurth What Shelly Says: I did some simple coloring with my bear and then used the matching die with it. After, I took some white cardstock along with the largest Lacy Layers Die and ran it through my die cutting machine. Once done, I assembled everything together. Though before adhering my bear, I added the little pattern under it along with my sentiment, and little heart. Laura Jane Products: Hibiscus Stamp Set Hibiscus Die Lacy Layers Die WFC 5-2 Laura Jane What Laura Jane Says: Using the Hibiscus Stamp Set I created a cluster in the corner of the cardstock. A little bit of cutting around the edges, of some of the outer leaves, with a craft knife enabled the Lacy Layers Die to be tucked underneath for a pretty framed effect. One large die cut bloom and a sweet die cut Butterfly finished the bouquet. Katie Gehring Products: Potted Stamp Set WFC 5-2 Katie Gehring What Katie Says: I was inspired by the colors in the pretty challenge photo to create my card. I heat embossed the large succulent planter from the Potted stamp set and added color using Zig Clean Color brush markers. Lorena Canto Products: Amazing Word Die Magical Stamp Set Succulents Stamp Set WFC 5-2 Lorena Canto What Lorena Says: For this card, my inspiration came from the colors and also the texture of some elements in the lovely picture. I started with a weaved 3D embossed panel that is inspired in the basket in the pic. The, I used the outline succulents watercolored with distress inks to make an arrangement using the inspiration palette. The sentiment is a mix of the Amazing Word Die and a sentiment from Magical Stamp Set that was embossed on a vellum strip (I love how well the different WF stamp sets combine!). As a final touch I added some glitter to the succulents with a Wink of Stella clear brush. --- Thank you for stopping by today! Find time to create and make something today!

Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Issa, York Tee and Tessa are here to share their takes on this month's Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our challenge too! wfc-201604-photo Isha Gupta Products: Celebrate Stamp Set Celebrate Word Die Lacy Flowers Die WFC 4-18 Isha Gupta What Isha Says: I got inspired by the colors in the photo. The green of the umbrella turned into the embossed vellum balloons, The flowers inspired me to use this pretty lacy Flower die. Ong York Tee Products: Loved Stamp Set Rosette Hearts Template Die Awesome Word Die WFC 4-18 York Tee What York Tee Says: I stamped a big outlined flower cluster from Loved Stamp Set with black ink at a white card base. A ribbon in black and leaves in green were layered to the flower cluster using the same stamp set. I made two heart shaped rosettes in two sizes using Rosette Hearts Template Die. I embellished them with die cut butterfly, wood veneer butterfly and pearls. Then, I added a few sequin shaped wood veneer to the card. Lastly, I die cut the word ‘Awesome’ using our new release Awesome Word Die and let it be the sentiment of my card. Tessa Wise Products: Warm Wishes Stamp Set Lacy Flower Stamp Set A Bunch Stamp Set WFC 4-18 Tessa Wise What Tessa Says: I pulled my buttery yellow card base from the inspiration photo, stamping it with the large flower from the Lacy Flower Stamp Set. Instead of an umbrella, I added my flower to the adorable mug from the Warm Wishes Stamp Set! Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Shelly, Laura Jane along with our guest spot winner Amina are here to share their takes on this month's Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our challenge too! wfc-201604-photo Marcie Sharp Products: Magical Stamp Set Lacy Flowers Die Celebrate Word Die Lacy Flower Mats Die WFC 4-11 Marcie Sharp What Marcie Says: I used the colours in the inspiration picture and channelled all the springtime vibes I could to create a pretty floral focal piece for my card. The Lacy Flower Mats Die and Lacy Flowers Die made this SO easy to do. Repeatedly stamping the thin lines from the Magical set and adding few ink splatters in a tone on tone look make a plain yellow card base a little more interesting. Finally, a bold pink sentiment draws your eye right where it needs to go and sequins give it a bit of bling. :) Daria Grushina Products: Leafy Stamp Set WFC 4-11 Daria Grushina What Daria Says: I was inspired by the gorgeous bouquet from the inspiration photo and decided to make my own... Unfortunately I do not have any umbrella die (that would look cool too)... So I just took a piece of craft cardstock to make the packaging and then colored and fussy cut lots and lots of flowers from Leafy Stamp set... Using coordinating dies would be so much faster... but they are still on my shopping list (wink) Shona Chambers Products: Awesome Word Die Congrats Stamp Set Willy Stamp Set Welcome Spring Stamp Set WFC 4-11 Shona Chambers What Shona Says: Using the tulip image as the focal point, I stamped the images in black on the card front and coloured with pencils. The word die was die-cut 3x, glued together and adhered to the card along with the rest of the sentiment. Thank you for sharing such beautiful creations with us, Ladies! We're lucky to have you! Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Shelly, Laura Jane along with our guest spot winner Amina are here to share their takes on this month's Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our challenge too! wfc-201604-photo Annette Allen Products: Bowtiful Stamp Set WFC 4-4 Annette Allen
What Annette Says: Using the Misti stamping tool, I stamped all these lovely bows in the colors from the inspiration photo. Just to make it a little more girly I added that sweet heart in the middle of all the bows. This set is so pretty and so many fun ways to use it.
Shelly Kurth Products: Lacy Flower Mats Die Lacy Flower Stamp Set Welcome Spring Stamp Set Welcome Spring Die WFC 4-4 Shelly Kurth
What Shelly Says: I used the Lacy Mats Die to make my 'bouquet'. Using kraft cardstock with the largest die and clear vellum with the next size down from the largest die. After, I scored some lines to fold my bouquet together. Once done, I added some adhesive to close it and then some twine around it. I then added my flowers inside of the bouquet.
Laura Jane Products: A Bunch Stamp Set DT Mix Stamp Set In Every Way Stamp Set Magical Stamp Set Willy & Friends Stamp Set Good Stuff Stamp Set Pattern Play Stamp Set Doily Circle Stamp Set Flower Circles Die Willy & Friends Die Good Stuff Die WFC 4-4 Laura Jane
What Laura Jane Says: For the background, I pulled out four flowery stamp sets: the A Bunch Stamp Set , the DT Mix Stamp Set, the In Every Way Stamp Set, and the Magical Stamp Set . I stamped the flower outlines in black and then stamped in the solid images using yellows, pinks, and peach colors from the inspiration photo. Then added green leaves and smaller blue blooms to fill in the gaps. Next, I made my focal piece using the Willy and Friends Stamp Set for Faye, the Good Stuff Stamp Set and Pattern Play Stamp Set for the bow, and Doily Circle Stamp Set for the sentiment. The Flower Circles Die, Willy and Friends Die, and Good Stuff Die always makes cutting the images a snap:)

York Tee

Products: Rock My World Die Good Stuff Die Rock My World Stamp Set Good Stuff Stamp Set Tribal Bear Stamp Set Fall Blend Ink Pad Winter Blend Ink Pad WFC-3-21-York Tee What York Tee Says: I used watercolor smooshing technique to create the look of watercolor for the top and bottom of my card, with no watercolor paints but just a little ink and water. For the leaves, I blended Green ink across with sponge dauber and added water droplets onto it. I picked up the water with paper towel to have some bleeding effect. For the flowers and ribbon, I embossed with black embossing powder and colored them with distress ink and water brush.

Isha Gupta

Products: Lotus Stamp Set WFC-3-21-Isha Gupta What Isha Says: Love watercoloring and this image from the Lotus Stamp Set is just so perfect. I did some masking and no-line watercolor. Super fun and relaxing :)

Tessa Wise

Products: Egg Hunt Stamp Set Welcome Spring Stamp Set WFC-3-21-Tessa Wise What Tessa Says: I love watercolor because it makes things easy! I stamped the tulip first and then stamped the grass around it second. I painted in the tulip using the same ink as the grass so that the blades would fade into the watercolor. I gave all the stamping a messier look by adding watercolor here and there as well. Thank you for stopping by. Join the fun by linking your projects to our challenge too! Happy Crafting!
