Pebbles - You Stole My Heart Card
Hello everyone! Popped in to share a card I made for a publication call. It didn't get picked for that issue but I loved it anyway. Here is the sketch: [caption id="attachment_11352" align="aligncenter" width="185"] As seen in Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking August 2014[/caption] As shared before in [The Missing Manual for Card Making] Stretch A Sketch, I rotated the sketch, gave the elements meaning and added special touches with stitched "X"s and dots "O"s :) It is a winning card in my book. All paper and embellishments are from Pebbles Yours Truly collection. Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting!
From Sea to Shining Sea - Celebrate Card
Hello everyone! I'm sharing two 4th of July cards over at Pebbles's Blog today and thought it would be fun to share another one here using the same collection: Americana! I started with my favorite paper from this collection "Home of the Brave". The word "Sparkle" on it inspired me to spell "celebrate" using some white glitter foam alphabet stickers. I also used foam adhesive to add more dimension to the card. To my US friends and families – Happy 4th! Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting! Faux Watercolor Look on Vellum
Hello everyone! I was excited about all the new dies and embossing folders from Lifestyle Crafts / We R Memory Keepers. I immediately ordered a few of my favorites using my Studio Team credits. I played with the Mason Jar Die yesterday and wanted to share what I have discovered while playing: a faux watercolor look on Vellum! The Mason Jar was screaming to be cut with vellum! The technique is very simple: use your Copics or any other alcohol markers to color in the embossing window. Use as a template is one of my favorite features of this die! I was putting the colors on very liberally and was happy with the results!...

[caption id="attachment_10996" align="alignnone" width="600"] Products used are linked at the end of this post.[/caption] As a design team member, I've had this happy collection in my stash for a little while. I'm so excited that we finally get to share our projects! I have a card, a tag and a technique to share today! Paper Pieced Birthday Card I love the two little stamps in this collection. They are just perfect for the paper piecing technique. I first...
Home of the Brave Card
Hello everyone! Happy Memorial Day! I made a card in honor of our hero. The Americana collection from Pebbles is by far my favorite patriotic line. I love that there is a nice kraft color mixed in the traditional red, white and blue. My favorite paper is this "Home of the Brave" paper from which I cut out my sentiment for the card. The pinwheel and the US flag tag are both ready made embellishments from the same collection. I trimmed one of the cardstock shape that says "Made in the USA" to make my banner on top. I also used foam...
Congrats Card + A Winner!
Hello everyone! I hope your week's been going well? I needed a congrats card for a lovely young lady's graduation day so I pulled out my sweet paper goodies from Pebbles Front Porch collection to make it: A pre-made pocket with the sentiment "Congrats!" and a chipboard bird shape helped to make this card a quick and easy project! I then tied a piece of gray ribbon into a knot and then cut the tails. As a finish touch, we tucked in a few bucks for the grad to use! Winner! The winner for our Masking with Sew Easy Stitching Templates...
