New Challenge Team Starts October!
Hello everyone! Here at Waffle Flower, we believe there is an artist in everyone and we always try our best to inspire. Waffle Flower Challenge is one of our efforts and returns to the blog on October 1, 2015 with our new challenge team!
We want to say a big thank you to everyone who applied to our Challenge DT Call back in July. Your talent blew us away! Thank you for your interest in "working" with us and taking the time to apply. We do keep all of your applications on file for future opportunities and guest spots. Playing along with our challenges, adding your projects to our Flickr Group, tagging us (#waffleflowercrafts) on Instagram are all good ways to get yourself out there a little. Hope that you won't mind getting an email from us in the future? (Wink, Wink)
Let's get to know a little bit more about our amazing challenge team!

Challenge Team
Annette AlleMy name is Annette Allen and my blog is myclevercreations.blogspot.com. My passion is all things paper. I started making cards back in 1997 when we lived in Germany. I have always loved the world of crafts and dabble a little in almost everything but my real passion is card making. I live in Colorado with my amazing husband of 20 years, almost 21. I am a stay at home wife who enjoys the company of a sweet dog named Sammy. I live life for the Lord and have to say that life is pretty good. I am so honored to be a part of the Waffle Flower Challenge Design Team!Daria Grushina I am Daria and I now live in Petrozavodsk, Karelia, that is the North-West part of Russia. I have an MA in Political Science from Carleton U, Ottawa. I freelance under my speciality (when I have time) and run a small shoe-shop as a private entrepreneur. I started to make cards in early October 2014, and I really enjoy that creative process, as much as I enjoy the creative cardmaking community. I am just loving it so much, so want to grown in it:) I am proud to be a member of My-Scrap.Ru design team as well as of the first on-line Clean&Simple School taught in Russian. And I am very excited to join the Waffle-Flower Challenge Team for the upcoming term. I feel very honored to be among these talented ladies and looking forward for the Challenge to start. Isha Gupta
Laura JaneHi, I am Isha Gupta. I've been living in Switzerland for last 18 years. I am a SAHM to my two sweet girls and wife to my super supportive husband :)I've always been creative but got hooked on stamping about four and half years ago. I don't have a particular style as I like to explore new techniques. I tend to find myself drawn towards fun, clean and simple with a technique or two in my creations.I enjoy creating paper projects, paintings, mixed media projects too. I absolutely love colors and coloring using various mediums.I love to try new things and try to do something creative everyday! I am so honored and thrilled to be part of the Waffle Flower Crafts Challenge team!
Hello I'm LauraJane:) Cardmaking with stamps and experimenting with all kinds of mediums became a passion of mine about three years ago. Flower images are my favorite! The Flower Circles die from Waffle Flower caught my eye back in 2014 and I've been a fan ever since. Looking forward to creating/inspiring with all the new WF challenges!Marcie Sharp
I am fun-loving, happily married, mom of two kids, cardmaker from rural Southwestern Ontario, Canada that loses her voice often due to excessive talking! If I'm not making cards I can be found geocaching with my family, curled up with a good book, or trying to start a dance party. I enjoy experimenting with many cardmaking styles, from clean and simple to fun layers, and I don't think I can be pegged into one particular 'style' of creating. Watercoloring is a technique and trend I'm really enjoying lately. I'm really looking forward to working with the rest of the Challenge Team and showing you all my Waffle Flower Crafts creations!Ong York Tee
Hi there! I’m Ong York Tee from Malaysia who loves paper and pretty stuffs. I am married to Jay and we have two little active boys, Ze and Hang. I’ve always loved crafting since my school days. During the preparation for my wedding in 2008, I chanced upon a newly open scrapbook store. However, due to time constrained, it was a year later that I started paper crafting and was instantly hooked. I started making cards which I couldn’t find in the market especially cards about breastfeeding. Really enjoyed making cards for family and friends and feel very happy when I see their ecstatic reaction/faces upon receiving my card. Loving to upcycle boxes, paper packaging and so forth. I started scrapbooking in 2013 and just commenced to the planner world five months ago. Not having a specific cardmaking style, I create based on my inspirations incorporating stamping and layering as I am a huge fan and loving simple, clean design! I am thrilled and honored to be on board the design team of Waffle Flower Crafts! Thank you so much!Shelly Kurth
Hi y'all! Shelly, here! I live in Florida and I'm a mom to four beautiful and loving kids, as well as a wife to my husband. I started scrapbooking back in 2003..2004? (a long time ago lol) and shortly after, I found my true passion was in making cards. My style is certainly clean and simple, though I will mix it up at times. I'm so excited to be sharing my creations with you and 'Thank you' to Nina and Tessa for having me again! When I'm not making cards or doing the million other things on my to-do list, you'll find me at the beach!Shona Chambers
