[Guest] Shellabrate Birthday Cards by Deasy
Hi all! It's Deasy here. I'm back again with 2 birthday cards. For my first card, I used Shellabrate Stamp Set (the turtles and the sentiment); Balloon Messages Stamp Set (ballons and stars) and Stocking Stamp Set (gifts). I stamped and colored images using Copics. The sentiment was heat embossed in gold. For my second card, I used Ballon Message Stamp Set (ballons and sentiment) and Birthday Fishes Stamp Set (balloon fish). Thank you so much for stopping by! Melania Deasy
[Guest] Sketchy Numbers Birthday Layout by Linda Barber
Hi there, Linda here! I'm so excited to share my layout with you. This layout is an ode to a cake-like hat I knitted my youngest for his first birthday. As it turned out, it was way too big. But that was a happy accident, because he's been wearing it on each of his birthdays ever since! It's been 11 years, and I'm hoping he'll continue to wear it on his future birthdays. Yes, even on his pre-teen and teen years. I hope... Big time! I used some of my favorite stamps, Sketchy Numbers, and lots of colors (alcohol markers)....
[Guest] Anniversary Project Life Spread by Mariko Brown
Hello, it's Mariko here. I am so happy to be sharing my pocket-style weekly photo album page as a Waffle Flower Crafts guest designer today. I am in love with Jumbo Letter Die, so I spelled "LOVE" with them for my wedding anniversary page from last week. Jumbo Letter Dies neatly fit in the 3x4 inch vertical pocket leaving enough room for embellishment and small journals. Size really matters when it comes to pocket-style scrapbooking! I also used Sketchy Alpha Stamp, Sketchy Numbers Stamp, Sketchy Numbers Die, and a tiny butterfly from Rosette Hearts Template Die. I have used...
[Guest] Thank You a Bunch Card by Torico
Hi everyone! It’s Torico here again with another card I made using the Willy & Friends stamp set. Last time I made a pile of bananas. This time I stacked up pineapples using the masking technique. Claire wants to add one more pineapple to show her gratitude and Willy helps her. Cute? ☺ For my background I chose some patterned paper that match well with the pineapple theme. This is my last post as a guest designer for Waffle Flower. I’d like to say a big Thank You to Nina for giving me this great opportunity! I hope you all...
[Guest] Don’t Steal My Bananas! - Torico
Hi everyone! It’s Torico here. Today I’m sharing a fun slider card I made using the Willy & Friends stamp set. When you pull out the slider strip… OMG! Willy has stolen Claire’s bananas!! :) To create this card, I blended light pink, yellow, and light green inks on a white panel, then spritzed it with water. After it completely dried, I cut out a slider track with a craft knife and made a notch on the top edge of the panel using a small circle punch. Then I adhered the panel to a card base with foam tape. I...
[Guest] More Cards from Anna Kossakovskaya
Hello everyone! Anna here with two more cards for Waffle Flower! Celebrate Card For this card, I die cut Celebrate Word Die from white cardstock a few times and stacked the layers to make a dimensional element. I masked the top half of the card base and blended two ink colors on the bottom half. I then diecut Celebrate word out from the inked paper and added the stacked word element behind to create the "chipboard" look. Butterflies are from Welcome Spring stamp set. Dance Card This card is a favorite of mine. I was blown away by Willy & Friends stamp set! I can think of so many fun "stories" for these...
